PMI-ACP Exam Prep Workshop


1. Attend the latest session of one of the first training workshops specifically designed for the new PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) designation. 

2. Experience an Agile curriculum designed by, Jesse Fewell, the founder of PMI's Agile Community of Practice, and member of the PMI-ACP steering committee.

3. Earn 21 PDUs and satisfy the Agile training requirement for the PMI Agile certification. 
 

Course Details
In the beginning, Agile project management techniques were only for the most change-oriented projects. Path-finding Internet-era companies showed the way to rapid innovation and dominance in their market spaces. Today however, Agile PM has become mainstream, and many organizations are adopting Agile approaches to improve their software development capability. This 3-day course provides a comprehensive overview of the competencies expected of an Agile professional. 


Audience
Although primarily targeted towards project professionals interested in achieving the PMI-ACP Certification, this course is not just for project managers. It is an effective primer for anyone who will be closely involved with teams adopting Agile techniques, including Product & Program Managers, Business Owners, IT managers, or Senior Technicians.

This course will satisfy all the training requirements for the new PMI-ACP Certification. Instructor
Tom Smallwood has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. His experience covers a wide range of industries and technologies. He has participated in software development in both contributor and leadership roles. Tom is experienced in both traditional and agile project management. Tom has been an agile practitioner for nearly a decade and has over three years experience training and coaching teams through the transition to agile.
 
Tom specializes in bringing Scrum and broader agile and lean principles and practices to teams, helping them to become effective, productive, and self-sustaining. Tom has certifications from both Scrum Alliance (CSM, CSP, CSD)  and Scrum.org (PSM 1). In addition Tom one of the first group of candidates to achieve the new PMI-ACP certification.
